Christian Fonss is a co-founding partner F&E LLP.  Prior to co-founding F&E LLP, Chris was a shareholder and co-chair of the corporate, transactional and securities practice of a regional law firm headquartered in San Diego. Chris also previously practiced corporate and securities law with a large national law firm in its Washington, DC and San Diego offices. Chris focuses his practice on corporate and securities law, including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and compliance, corporate governance, leasing, general corporate matters and business counseling, and the drafting and negotiation of all types of contracts and corporate documents. Chris’s practice includes counseling a wide variety of clients ranging from entrepreneurs starting their first business to large public and private companies. He has extensive experience advising business entities in connection with mergers & acquisitions, raising of capital, securities law compliance, contractual matters, and corporate formation.

Chris has negotiated complex merger and acquisition transactions, leases and a variety of corporate and commercial agreements on behalf of his clients, including manufacturing and supply agreements. He also assists clients with respect to corporate governance matters and in complying with the state and federal securities laws. In the legal community, Chris is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association (ABA). He is a member of the ABA’s Committees on Mergers & Acquisitions, Middle Market and Small Business, Private Equity and Venture Capital and State Regulation of Securities.

Chris earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Boston College (1999). He received his Juris Doctorate from the George Washington Law School (2002).
