Mason Goodman is a corporate and transactional attorney with a background in general corporate matters and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Fonss & Estigarribia LLP as an associate, Mason represented a variety of clients from large corporations to entrepreneurs in various industries, ranging from real estate developers to apparel companies. While representing these clients, Mason counseled on corporate governance and formation, leasing, financing, acquisitions and sales, brand protection, privacy, and intellectual property rights. Mason currently assists clients with corporate governance, contractual matters, debt and equity capital raises, compliance with state and federal securities filings, and merger and acquisition transactions. Additionally, Mason is active in the firm’s government contracts practice, advising service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, women-owned businesses, minority-owned businesses and other government contractors with their government contract legal needs.

 

While attending law school, Mason served as the President of the Health Law Society, was a Journal of Climate and Energy Law Member, a Mock Trial National Competitor, an Intramural Mock Trial Champion, and volunteered pro bono with the Clean Slate and Domestic Violence clinics.

Mason earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies with an emphasis in Technology Management from the University of California Santa Barbara (2014). He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law (2020).
